Getting started

Bookwise supports driving schools and event organisers. This guide is for driving schools. For DJs, photography, and décor, see Events.

You register your business, get a public booking site, and learners book lessons online.

1. Open Get started

  1. Go to the Bookwise home page.
  2. Click Get started free (or Get started in the header).
  3. Choose Driving school.

If a bookmark to /get-started 404s, use Get started on the home page or go to register your business.

2. Register your business

You will be asked for:

  • Business name
  • Public URL slug (this becomes your site address)
  • Admin account email and password
  • Country / timezone basics

Submit the form. You land in your admin dashboard for that school.

3. Explore the live demo (optional)

Before or after signup, open the Live demo link on the home page. It is a real working school so you can click through booking, packages, and the customer portal without creating an account first.

4. What to do next

  1. Add instructors and set availability — see Admin dashboard and Instructor (Teach).
  2. Publish services, packages, gallery, and blog — see Your public site.
  3. Share your public link with learners — see Learner portal.
  4. When messaging is enabled for your school, use Comms → Email and Comms → SMS as described in the admin guide.

Tips

  • You can use Bookwise free during beta. Platform subscription pricing is not published on /pricing yet — that page shows package examples for demo schools, not Bookwise SaaS rates. Ask your Bookwise contact when you are ready to move off beta.
  • Keep your admin email somewhere safe — it is how you sign in and recover access.
  • Learners need more than 24 hours’ notice to cancel; admins can override. Slot picks are held for about 10 minutes during checkout.
